Maulana Abdul Rashid Shahbakhsh, the Sunni Friday Imam of Nasrabad (Zabul),

issued a statement condemning the killing of fuel operators by the IRGC on the Saravan border.

The text of the statement is as follows:

“The deprivation of the people of Balochistan and the lack of attention to the problems

and needs of the faithful and satisfied people and youth over the past years has led

to this kind of tragic and heartbreaking incident.

“Who can answer the cries and lamentations of families

, fathers, mothers, wives and children who have lost loved ones?”

“Mothers have fallen on the corpses of their full-fledged youths

and are not separated from them.

“Do the provincial officials still not hear

the cries and groans of the bereaved?”

“The truth is that the human conscience is ashamed of shame

when it sees the oppressed, the faithful, and the destitute youth burning

to get a morsel of bread for their poor children or parents

in a country rich in such riches and mines

. “Let blood be drawn.”
